Honestly, I used to get confused too 😅 but here’s an easy trick that really helped me remember the Mughal emperors in the correct order 👇

Mnemonic trick:
👉 “B H A J S A F” — Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jahangir, Shah Jahan, Aurangzeb, Farrukhsiyar (and later rulers)

You can remember it like this:

So the main timeline is:

1. Babur (1526–1530) – Founder

2. Humayun (1530–1540, 1555–1556)

3. Akbar (1556–1605)

4. Jahangir (1605–1627)

5. Shah Jahan (1628–1658)

6. Aurangzeb (1658–1707)
